As The Krueger Group’s energetic Administrative Support Manager, Amber spends her days on any HR, IT, or Marketing needs, and also heads up TKG’s Safety Program. Amber joined TKG in July of 2018 after working her way up the ranks from Sales Rep to Operations Manager at a national tin ceiling manufacturing company. The best part of her day is the sense of satisfaction she feels with the swipe of her pen over an item on her to-do list.
She sees TKG as taking “custom” to another level. Because her position allows her to interact with each member of the team, she sees the process of a client’s vision coming to life. As an art lover, her favorite part of that process is to see what finishes emerge in the design, like the choice of a paint color or countertop material. Art is a huge part of Amber’s life. She and mother and sisters create works of art on a theme and share them with each other twice a month at brunch. She loves ‘making messes’ with her son; if they aren’t outside having fun. She also spends her time dedicated to photography, researching music history, and reading (especially sharing her love since age 12, the Harry Potter series, with her son at bedtime).
Since her son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder a few years ago, Amber has been dedicated to raising awareness of ASD, and is active in raising money toward Autism research. If you are interested in learning more or showing support, you can visit Autism Speaks at https://www.autismspeaks.org/.
Amber is a Dale Carnegie graduate, OSHA 10-Hour certified, and a notary public. Lastly, she loves to keep her classic country and classic rock close at hand on work days to keep her going. She says the classic country reminds her of her days growing up… and that “no work day is complete without a little CCR or Rolling Stones!”
