Dan came aboard as a Project Manager in April 2019, and oversees major components of project planning – scheduling, meeting with trade partners, ordering materials and ensuring each project finishes on budget. It suits him well. He sees being outside on-site and working with clients as the best part of a day. Ask him about his favorite part of the project process, and he’ll say watching the trucks roll in, stocked with equipment and materials, ready to go.
He has much to compare – Dan began in the construction industry at just 14 years old, working on a framing crew. He later ran his own crew, and then moved into structural design, estimating, and purchasing duties. From there he grew into industrial and commercial field design, managing projects throughout the country. With all his experience, he still considers the client’s reaction to a project as the most important indicator of success. The camaraderie of The Krueger Group staff and their team effort to bring clients’ visions to life makes his work life satisfying.
Dan studied Business and Marketing at the University of Akron, as well as courses on estimating, structural design and Auto Cad. Outside TKG, Dan and his wife are active supporters of the Stephen A. Comunale Jr. Family Cancer Foundation, which uses its programs and funds to support those in NE Ohio who are facing the effects of a cancer diagnosis in the family. He also enjoys time gardening, woodworking, writing music, building guitars, and most importantly, playtime with his children.
